These terms and conditions of sale (the “Terms”) govern sales of products made on the squishy-dumpling.co.uk website. Placing an order implies full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms.
1. Purpose
These Terms set out the rights and obligations of the parties in connection with the online sale of products offered by JR ECOM AE, a sole trader (referred to as “the Seller”), to any non-professional customer (referred to as “the Customer”).
2. Products
The products offered for sale are described and presented as accurately as possible. Photographs are as faithful as we can make them, but cannot guarantee a perfect match, particularly with regard to colours.
3. Prices
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and correspond to the final price you pay. No VAT is added at checkout: the Seller is a French micro-business operating under the French small-business scheme. Any delivery charges are stated clearly before you confirm your order. The Seller reserves the right to change its prices at any time; however, the price applicable is the one in force at the time your order is confirmed.
4. Orders
The Customer confirms their order after checking the contents of their basket. The sale becomes final once the order is confirmed and payment has been taken. A confirmation email summarising the order is then sent to the Customer.
5. Payment
Payment is made online by debit or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via our payment provider Stripe, or in instalments via Klarna. Transactions are secure (encrypted connection, 3-D Secure authentication) and the Seller does not store any card details. More information is available on our Secure Payment page.
6. Delivery
Delivery arrangements, timeframes and charges are set out on our Delivery page.
7. Right to Cancel
In accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the Customer has a period of 30 days from receipt of the products to exercise their right to cancel, without having to give a reason. This is a commercial extension we offer beyond the standard 14-day statutory minimum. Full details are set out on our Returns & Cancellation page.
8. Statutory Guarantees
All products benefit from the protections set out in the Consumer Rights Act 2015, under which goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If there is a problem with your order, please get in touch with our customer service team.
9. Personal Data
Data collected as part of your order is processed in accordance with our privacy policy.
10. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, we will always try to find an amicable solution first. Failing that, the Customer may seek Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) — please see our Legal Notice for further information — or bring proceedings before the competent courts.
11. Customer Service
If you have any question about an order, please get in touch via our Contact page.
