Under the clear pearly skin of this 9 cm dumpling sit hundreds of soft pastel beads, capped with a moulded unicorn horn and two little white ears that sit above the classic pleated dumpling face. No two squeezes look quite the same, since the beads settle into a new pattern each time.

The bead fill gives it a grainier, more granular push-back than our gel-based slow-rise dumplings, with a soft crunch as you squash it and a slower, textured return as the beads redistribute inside the shell. Good to know before you buy a bead-filled dumpling squishy

It's made from TPR, PP, PU and plastic, and arrives nested in a mini bamboo-style steamer basket, so it's ready to display or gift straight out of the box. Keep it away from sharp nails to protect the outer skin, wipe it clean with a damp cloth, and let it air dry fully before putting it back on the shelf. It's rated for ages 3 and up, and comes with 30 days to send it back if it's not quite right.
